How to get it?
- Enter your Windows Live ID to sign-in
- Register your phone number to make sure the service works on your network
- Click on Text Messaging -> Alerts to sign-up for Hotmail Alerts
How much does it cost?
Each Hotmail alert costs between 10p and 15p depending on your network.
You will be able to check the price before activating the service and you can save money by setting up to receive alerts only for emails sent from your contacts.
You can stop the service anytime by replying to an alert with "STOP".
